BLITZBALL!!!

Instead of the traditional leveling up system in Final Fantasy where you just get to level 99, Squaresoft has created a new system that proves much more complex and time consuming to max out your character's stats. This system is called the "Sphere Grid." In the Sphere Grid you have full customization ability to every character. You can put take any character anywhere on the sphere grid, to learn any ability. The Sphere Grid is also where you get stats like "strength +4." These stats and abilties are located on "nodes" throughout the grid. To activate a node, you need to be standing on or ajacent to it, and use a cooresponding "sphere." These spheres that use are what activates the node, giving the stat attribute or ability to your character. Refer to the following table to see what each sphere does:
Power Sphere Description
Power Sphere Activates Strength, Defense, or HP node
Mana Sphere Activate Magic, Magic Defense, or MP node
Speed Sphere Activates Agility, Accuracy, or Evasion node
Ability Sphere Activates an ability node
Fortune Sphere Activates Luck node
Attribute Sphere Activates attribute sphere activated by allies
Special Sphere Activates special node activated by allies
Skill Sphere Activates skill node activated by allies
Wht. Magic Sphere Activates Wht. magic sphere activated by allies
Blk. Magic Sphere Activates Blk Magic sphere activated by allies
Master Sphere activate ANY sphere on the sphere grid
Lvl 1/2/3/4 Key Unlock cooresponding lock
HP Sphere Turns empty node into HP node
MP Sphere Turns empty node into MP node
Stength Sphere Turns empty node into Str. node
Defense Sphere Turns empty node into Def. node
Magic Sphere Turns empty node into magic node
Magic Def. Sphere Turns empty node into Magic D. node
Agility Sphere Turns empty node into Agility node
Evasion Sphere Turnns empty node into Evasion node
Accuracy Sphere Turns empty node into Accuracy node
Luck Sphere Turns empty node into Luck node
Clear Sphere Clears a node from grid
Return Sphere Returns char. to any previously activated node
Friend Sphere Moves char. to ally's position
Teleport Sphere Moves char. to ANY activated node on grid
Warp Sphere Moves char. ANYWHERE on grid
